Shenzhen ZTW Model Science & Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of brushless electronic speed controllers (ESCs) and propulsion systems for RC models, UAVs, and industrial applications. Since our founding in 2007, we have grown from a small RC hobby workshop into a global ESC manufacturer serving hobbyists, OEM partners, and industrial customers in over 60 countries.
Headquartered in a self-owned 2,500 m² facility in Bao'an, Shenzhen — housing both our engineering offices and production floor — ZTW combines in-house R&D, vertically integrated assembly, and rigorous quality control to deliver brushless power systems that range from 6A micro ESCs for indoor flyers to 300A HV controllers for industrial UAVs and marine propulsion.
We operate two brands: ZTW, our core line covering RC aircraft, helicopters, cars, boats, FPV, and industrial ESCs; and XD Fly, launched in 2023 as our premium brand for discerning pilots and high-end applications.
R&D and Innovation
ZTW's R&D center is the engine of our product development. Our engineering team of 15–20 specialists includes software engineers, hardware engineers, mechanical designers, test engineers, and in-house test pilots — many of whom are active RC pilots themselves. This pilot-to-engineer feedback loop ensures every ESC is tuned for real-world performance, not just bench specifications.
Our technical leadership brings decades of brushless motor control experience and deep expertise in firmware architecture, power electronics, thermal management, and electromagnetic compatibility. Under their direction, ZTW has developed proprietary motor control algorithms, telemetry protocols, and protection systems that are now deployed across millions of ESCs worldwide.

All products — from the Mantis micro series to the 300A HV industrial ESCs — are developed by our in-house R&D team, including custom ODM projects for OEM partners.
Manufacturing & Quality Control
Our 2,500 m² Shenzhen facility combines engineering offices and production under one roof, enabling seamless communication between R&D and manufacturing. Customers visiting our office can walk directly onto the production floor to see their products being built.
Production capabilities:

- Burn-in / load testing under full current to verify thermal and electrical stability
- Waterproof testing for marine and sealed ESC lines

- Functional and flight testing by in-house pilots before product release
- Incoming material inspection and batch consistency checks

OEM / ODM Services
ZTW has been an OEM/ODM partner to global RC brands since our founding in 2007. We have manufactured ESCs for Hobbyking, Horizon Hobby, Futaba, and other leading global RC brands, and we understand the quality, confidentiality, and delivery expectations of international brand owners.
Our ODM capabilities include:
- Custom firmware development (throttle curves, protection logic, telemetry protocols, brand-specific features)
- Custom housing design, color, and laser-engraved logos
- Custom wire lengths, connectors, and capacitor configurations
- Private-label and exclusive tooling projects (design fee applies for exclusive development)
- Full product specification customization for industrial and UAV applications
How we work:
